Job summary

Ascension Living in Avilla, IN is seeking a Maintenance Plant technician for day shift. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on facility equipment and systems at Sacred Heart Village, ensuring reliable operations.

• Perform utility and structural repairs, coordinating with internal teams and trade partners.
• Maintain thorough work documentation and inspections, adhering to policies and warranty requirements.
• Manage inventory and supply requisitions, and respond to emergency service calls.

How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Execute preventive and corrective maintenance, installation, and inspection of facility equipment, machinery, and systems to ensure ongoing operational reliability.
• Perform utility and structural repairs, collaborating effectively with both internal teams and external trade partners as needed.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of all work performed and equipment inspections, ensuring strict adherence to departmental policies and warranty requirements.
• Manage material inventory and supply requisitions, while responding promptly to emergency service calls to resolve facility issues.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Drivers License preferred.
• Maintenance Professional preferred.
• Maintenance Professional specializing in Mechanics preferred.

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
