Work Type: Full Time

FTE: 1.00

Shift: Evening

Shift/Weekend Differential: Evening Shift Differential: $2.00/hour

Hours: 3:45p - 12:15a

Position Summary

Responsible for the maintenance, testing, repair, modification, and documentation of various facility systems including steam, condensate, natural gas, water, medical gas, water systems, effluent, waste piping, and fire sprinkler systems. Must operate the computerized maintenance management system to record all maintenance activities.

Minimum Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Three (3) years of relevant experience in plumbing and mechanical trades.
  • Preferred: Technical training in plumbing and industrial plumbing experience.
  • Required certifications: ASSE 6040, Backflow preventer tester, asbestos abatement, or ability to obtain them.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Must pass written and skills tests with a score of 75% or higher.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and push/pull up to 800 pounds.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience operating tractors, forklifts, high lifts, and other equipment.
