Job summary

Maricopa County in Phoenix is seeking a skilled Plumber to join the Operations and Maintenance team. The successful candidate will perform a range of plumbing tasks on County facilities with a strong focus on customer service and reliability.

Two full-time shifts are available: Day shift 7:00 AM–3:30 PM and Night shift 3:00 PM–11:30 PM, with differential for night work and overtime eligibility. Requires journey-level experience, a high school diploma or GED, and an apprenticeship or vocational

Qualifications

Three years of journey-level commercial plumbing experience.
High school diploma or GED.
Completion of an apprenticeship program or vocational education in the plumbing field may substitute for two years of the experience requirement.

Responsibilities

Remove, replace, and repair toilets, faucets, valves, and meters; boilers and related plumbing equipment.
Repair sewer lines, grease traps, and joints.
Safely operate sewer machines, jetters, cameras, and locators.
Perform preventive maintenance on plumbing fixtures and systems.
Respond to emergency situations during and after hours.
Other job duties as assigned.
