The Philadelphia School District is seeking an entry-level plumber to install, maintain, and repair plumbing equipment across the district's facilities. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma and four years of apprenticeship experience.
This role includes overseeing trainees, following city plumbing codes, and adhering to safety procedures. A valid journeyman plumber’s license and motor vehicle license for Pennsylvania are required.

This is the entry level of the journeyman series in the plumbing trade. Installs, maintains and repairs plumbing equipment and fixtures including hot and cold water lines, hot water heaters and tanks, drinking fountains, showers, toilets, urinals and sinks. Work involves assignments of increasing scope and complexity as the employee gains familiarity with the work environment. Opens and clears clogged drains, opens frozen water lines during the winter months, and repairs water mains.
