Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a skilled plumber to maintain and improve plumbing systems across healthcare facilities. You will repair, install, test, and troubleshoot water and medical gas distribution, ensuring safety and compliance with codes.

The role features a Monday–Friday 7:00 AM–3:30 PM schedule with an on-call rotation that includes additional compensation, contributing to a stable, mission-driven environment where patient care and operational excellence are paramount.

Qualifications

• 4-5 years of job-related experience or combination of experience and education will be considered.
• Driver's License required.
• Meet the physical requirements including ability to lift 50 lbs or more.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong organizational skills and ability to analyze information.

Responsibilities

• Repair, install, replace, test, and troubleshoot the water and medical gas supply and distribution system.
• Install new water systems, piping, and fixtures per blueprints, drawings, specs and codes.
• Ensure waste and vent lines are in good operating condition; use plumber's snake, vacuum plunger, or jet washer.
• Assist other staff or contractors on projects or equipment installations.
• Complete plumbing safety inspections on backflow devices.
• Provide training to staff for light plumbing maintenance and repair.
• Respond to emergency situations and coordinate with on-call team.
• Follow HSE policies and complete required HSE programs.

What You’ll Do

• Repair, install, replace, test, and troubleshoot the water and medical gas supply and distribution system.
• Install new water systems, piping, and fixtures by blueprints, drawings, specifications, and applicable codes.
• Ensure waste and vent lines are in good operating condition using a plumber's snake, vacuum plunger, or jet washer.
• Assist other staff members or contractors on projects or equipment installations.
• Complete plumbing safety inspections on backflow devices.
• Provide training to other staff members so they can perform light plumbing maintenance and repair.
• Perform general maintenance and building systems operational duties as assigned or directed.
• Respond to emergency situations, summoning extra help as needed.
• Follow all activity policies and procedures, always including all HSE-related requirements.
• Complete all HSE programs & activities as required, including incident investigations, interviews, auditing, and assessment, etc.
• Report any conditions that could result in an accident or injury to management.

What You’ll Need

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4-5 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
• Driver's License required.
• Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
• Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.
• Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
• Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.
