Job summary

SNC is seeking a Configuration Analyst II to manage configuration across complex engineering and manufacturing products using PLM systems. You will audit product data, maintain BoMs, and ensure compliance with customer requirements and industry standards.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years in configuration management, with strong documentation skills and experience in cross-disciplinary teams. This role emphasizes process improvements and rigorous data integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in configuration management within aerospace/defense.
• Proficiency with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems and configuration management principles.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
• Experience working in multi-disciplinary design and development teams.
• Basic understanding of Documentation Control Database systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage and control the configuration of complex engineering and manufacturing products through a PLM system.
• Ensure accurate and timely input and maintenance of Product Data, including Parts and Bills of Materials (BoMs).
• Perform detailed audits and verification of product configurations to ensure compliance with customer requirements, company standards, and industry regulations.
• Coordinate the preparation and documentation required for product structure and configuration management.
• Support the configuration change management process, including evaluating, implementing, and tracking the life cycle of changes.
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure effective configuration control and resolve complex configuration issues.
• Maintain and manage detailed records and documentation related to configuration management activities.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance configuration management practices.
