Job summary

Amphenol Communications Solutions, a division of Amphenol Corporation, seeks a Project Engineer – PLM Specialist in Etters, PA. You will drive Windchill PLM administration, lead PLM enhancements, manage ECR/ECO/CN workflows, and coordinate cross-functional teams to improve data integrity and process efficiency.

You will liaison with IT, manufacturing, and quality to ensure seamless Windchill integration with ERP and CAD systems, while mentoring users and maintaining documentation compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience implementing and upgrading enterprise document control systems.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or related field.
• 2–5+ years in engineering or PLM roles.
• Experience with PLM systems (Creo/ Windchill, NX/ Teamcenter, CATIA/ ENOVIA).
• Familiarity with Creo or other CAD tools.
• Strong configuration management, BOM structures, and change control.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and communicate across teams.
• Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Windchill Administration — Manage and maintain Windchill PLM.
• Lead mid-scale PLM enhancement projects from scoping to implementation.
• Lead ECR/ECO/CN activities within Windchill.
• CAD data management for Creo and integrated tools.
• Identify and implement engineering workflow improvements with Windchill.
• Provide training and troubleshoot for users.
• Ensure documentation meets CM standards and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate engineering tasks and track milestones.
• Maintain BOMs, metadata, and product structures in Windchill.
• Collaborate with IT on Windchill-ERP/MES/CAD integrations.
