Job summary

Amphenol Communications Solutions (ACS) is seeking an Engineering Systems Engineer PLM & AI Enablement to support Windchill PLM, data management, and digital engineering initiatives. The role drives data quality, enterprise search enablement, and AI tool integration within engineering workflows.

You will collaborate with global engineering, IT, and AI teams across the United States, China, India, and beyond to standardize processes and improve system adoption.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in PLM, engineering systems, product engineering, or related role.
• Experience with Windchill PLM or a comparable PLM platform.
• Knowledge of ECR/ECN processes, BOM management, product structures, and data management.
• Experience with Creo or other CAD systems and CAD-to-PLM integration.
• Understanding of engineering data structures, metadata, revision control, lifecycle states, access permissions, and workflow management.
• Strong English communication skills for global collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Windchill system support and administration, user access, role assignment, and configuration.
• Troubleshoot PLM-related issues including workflow interruptions and data synchronization.
• Support ECR/ECN and engineering change management processes.
• Manage BOMs and product structures within PLM.
• Manage engineering documents and records lifecycle.
• Support Creo/PLM integration including data management and version control.
• Collaborate with global engineering, PLM, IT, and AI teams to resolve issues.
