Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Software Project Manager to lead a PLM transformation, replacing a legacy PLM with a Salesforce-based Propel solution in a manufacturing/engineering-focused environment. You will drive structure, governance, stakeholder alignment, and vendor accountability to ensure a successful go-live and sustainable post-implementation operations.

You will manage vendor relationships, data migration, ERP integrations, and executive-level reporting, with strong emphasis on Waterfall

Qualifications

Experience leading complex software PLM implementations.
Proven track record with ERP and system integrations.
Experience in Waterfall project management and governance.
Executive-level reporting and governance experience.
PMP certification is preferred.
Experience in manufacturing/engineering environments.
Strong stakeholder management and vendor leadership.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end PLM implementation project on the client side.
Manage implementation partners and vendors to align scope, schedule, and deliverables.
Ensure vendors meet timelines and agreed functionality and plans.
Oversee data migration planning, execution, and validation.
Coordinate ERP and enterprise system integrations with the new PLM platform.
Produce executive-style status reports, risks, and decisions for leadership.
Drive cross-functional alignment among engineering, IT, and business teams.
Establish and maintain project governance, escalation paths, and accountability.
