Job summary

X-Factor Consulting in the greater Atlanta area seeks an Engineering/PLM Transformation & Adoption Lead for a remote role. You’ll drive change management, training, adoption, and cross-unit collaboration to modernize engineering systems and data.

Responsibilities include governance, roadmap alignment, stakeholder communication, and data-integrity practices during migrations and BOM changes. This role demands strong executive-level facilitation and metrics-driven leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or related field; graduate degree preferred.
• 8+ years of transformation or change management experience, 3+ years with engineering systems preferred.
• Proven success leading at least one enterprise-level system implementation with a PLM or ERP platform.
• Knowledge of configuration management in a manufacturing environment.

• Design and deliver role-based adoption programs, change journeys, materials, and messaging translating technical details to business outcomes.
• Define adoption metrics and build dashboards with clear data/visuals.

Our client is seeking an Engineering/PLM Transformation & Adoption Lead for an excellent remote position located in greater Atlanta, GA area or surrounding cities. This position will be a part of initiatives across several business units to modernize engineering systems, data, processes, and connections. The role will report to the Project Manager and focus on change management, communication, training, and adoption across all business units.

• Partner with Senior leaders, system administrators, project leads, architects, and business general managers to ensure changes integrate smoothly within the wider technology landscape.
• Align leadership on the implementation roadmap, balancing delivery against capacity to absorb change.

• Map all stakeholders across business units and develop targeted, role-specific communication plans for each function.
• Apply configuration management practices to protect data integrity during migration, workflows, and manufacturing transitions.
• Partner with solution architects and IT teams to evaluate downstream system impacts and define needs with adjacent platforms.
• Design and deliver role-based adoption programs, change journeys, support materials, and messaging that translates technical details to business outcomes for every level.

• Familiarity with product lifecycle management platforms, including data migration and bill of materials management (BOM).
• Understanding of ERP systems integration practices.
• Ability to create role-specific change management and training content, as well as dashboards for data-driven metrics.
• Knowledge of quality management system concepts such as non-conformance handling, corrective actions, and document control, preferably with implementation experience linked to a product lifecycle management environment.
• Background in manufacturing and engineering ideal, service operations or multi-site environments a plus.
• Strong executive-level communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to build trust across all levels and functions.
