Job summary

Slate is seeking a Change Management Specialist to support an enterprise-wide change program within our PLM system, guiding CRs and ECNs from initiation through BOM implementation. The role requires collaboration across Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Finance to drive timely actions and KPI reporting.

The position is hybrid, based in Troy, MI, with 1-2 days on-site. Must have 5+ years in automotive or related fields, PLM/ERP experience (Windchill, SAP), and strong communication

Qualifications

• BA/BS in engineering or management or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of related automotive industry experience.
• Experience with PLM and ERP systems (Windchill and SAP).
• Excellent communication, team building, and relationship building skills.
• Data analysis and attention to detail.
• Technical writing and documentation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Champion Slate’s change management process, becoming the go-to person to get things done.
• Develop deep understanding of change management in the PLM system and its relation to product development.
• Ensure efficient processes from change request creation through approval.
• Run company-wide meetings to align cross-functional teams.
• Track specific program metrics and KPIs.
• Audit data to ensure alignment with leadership decisions.
• Engage with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Commercial, Brand & Marketing, Service, and Finance teams.
