Job summary

INEOS Olefins & Polymers USA is seeking a PLC Engineer at Battleground Manufacturing Complex in La Porte, TX. The role focuses on owning PLC system reliability, lifecycle management, and safety-related SIS logic across general-purpose and safety PLCs.

Responsibilities include leading troubleshooting, ensuring system integrity, coordinating with OT, cybersecurity, and I/E teams, and preparing turnover documentation for projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Automation, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related fields required.
• Hands-on experience with PLCs (Rockwell, Emerson, Triconex, HIMA, GE, Siemens) and automation equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting, reliability, and lifecycle management for PLC systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead reliability stewardship and lifecycle management of PLC systems within the assigned scope.
• Provide detailed troubleshooting, technical review, and reliability assurance for hardware, software, and interfaces.
• Review asset-owner requirements and technical packages with Capital Projects PLC engineering counterparts.
