INEOS Olefins & Polymers USA is seeking a qualified SIS/PLC Specialist to support design, configuration, testing, and commissioning of safety instrumented systems and PLCs at Chocolate Bayou works in Alvin, Texas. You will manage PLC networks, backups, and documentation while ensuring ISA and PSM alignment.
The role requires an associate degree in instrumentation/electrical tech, 5+ years of industrial PLC experience, and familiarity with Allen Bradley, Triconex, GE, and Honeywell PLCs.
Competenze
- Associate degree in Instrument and/or Electrical technology; SIS/PLC experience acceptable.
- At least 5 years of industrial experience with PLCs, interlocks, automation and maintenance.
- Experience with Allen Bradley, Triconex, GE and Honeywell LM PLCs.
- Knowledge of IEC61511/61508, API 553/556, NFPA 85/86/87 a plus.
Mansioni
- Support SIS-PLC design, configuration, testing and commissioning.
- Maintain and troubleshoot CBW PLC systems and networks.
- Lead documentation, narratives, and change control per ISA/PSM.
- Mentor maintenance technicians in PLC programming and I/O config.
- Ensure SIS/PLC changes meet site procedures and safety standards.
