Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Maintenance Technician with PLC knowledge in Minnesota for 1st or 2nd shift. You will inspect, maintain, and repair complex hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and PLC systems while coordinating with the production team to minimize downtime.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of manufacturing maintenance experience, the ability to read schematics, and a solid safety record. A hydraulics-related certification is preferred; a comprehensive benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a maintenance technician in manufacturing.
• Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, mechanical, and PLC systems is essential.
• Technical training or certification in hydraulics or a related field is highly desirable.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings/schematics.
• Strong problem-solving and teamwork abilities; good communication.
• Ability to adhere to safety protocols at all times.
• Physical stamina to lift heavy objects and be on feet for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Inspect machinery and equipment routinely to identify malfunctions.
• Perform preventive maintenance to keep equipment in peak condition.
• Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, mechanical, and PLC systems.
• Coordinate with production to schedule repairs and minimize downtime.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment.
• Document maintenance and repair work with accurate records.
• Keep the maintenance area organized and stocked with tools.
• Collaborate with technicians to share knowledge and solve complex problems.
• Use power and hand tools for maintenance tasks.
