Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Minnesota with PLC knowledge to join our manufacturing team. This role offers $33-$40 per hour with a $2 shift premium for 2nd shift, and first or second shift availability.

You will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and PLC systems, and coordinate downtime with production to minimize disruptions. We are a family-owned leader in heavy manufacturing, investing in people and automation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a maintenance technician role within manufacturing.
• Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, mechanical, and PLC systems is essential.
• Technical training or certification in hydraulics, maintenance, or related field is highly desirable.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and schematics.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot a wide range of equipment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Adherence to safety protocols at all times.
• Physical stamina to lift heavy objects and work on feet for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections of machinery and equipment to identify signs of malfunction and respond.
• Perform preventative maintenance to keep machinery running at peak performance.
• Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic systems and components using schematics and drawings.
• Coordinate with production to schedule repairs to minimize downtime.
• Adhere to safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment.
• Document maintenance work with accurate records for reporting.
• Keep maintenance area clean and stocked with tools and supplies.
• Collaborate with technicians and staff to share knowledge and solve problems.
