Job summary

Garelick Farms, part of Dairy Farmers of America, is seeking a 1st shift PLC maintenance technician. The role involves installing, monitoring, and repairing PLC devices, HMIs, and related electrical systems to ensure optimal equipment performance and quality output.

The position requires 4–6 years in industrial maintenance with PLC experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a willingness to work off-hours and weekends. A sign-on bonus is offered for external candidates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduation from trade/technical school preferred in industrial automation, electricity/electronics, PLC.
• 4 to 6 years of industrial maintenance electrical/PLC experience, preferably in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and adjust PLCs, HMIs, and field devices.
• Troubleshoot and repair power and motor control systems and frequency drives.
• Perform preventative/predictive maintenance to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.
• Maintain CMMS records and inventory accuracy.
• Provide technical support and mentor team members.

Education
