Garelick Farms, a DFA subsidiary, seeks a 1st shift Maintenance Technician to install, monitor, and maintain automated control systems. The role requires troubleshooting across mechanical, electrical, and electronic components with supervision only on complex tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical school certification preferred in electrical/industrial tech
• 2–4 years of related maintenance experience in manufacturing
• Experience with electrical/mechanical troubleshooting and power tools
• Familiarity with PLC/VFD/Servo systems and electrical distribution
• Able to read schematics/blueprints and interpret specifications
• Willingness to work off-hours and weekends
• Certification/license may be required during employment

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment using PC and control software
• Lay out circuits and install wiring for plant loads
• Perform preventive/predictive maintenance and part replacements
• Inspect plant equipment (pumps, boilers, compressors) and ensure safety
• Train and assist operators; communicate issues to teams and management
• Maintain GMP, health, safety, and sanitation standards
