Job summary

Garelick Farms, part of Dairy Farmers of America, seeks a Controls Technician for the 1st shift to install, monitor, and maintain control systems of automated equipment. You will troubleshoot, calibrate, and repair a variety of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components, with collaboration from the maintenance team.

Role requires turning in timely preventative maintenance, wiring layouts, and supporting operators.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Trade or technical school certification preferred in electrical, industrial electronics, computer tech, or mechanical systems.
• 2–4 years of directly relatable experience in manufacturing or maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Install, monitor, calibrate, and maintain control systems for automated equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic components.
• Lay out circuits and install electrical wiring for plant loads.
• Perform preventative maintenance and replace defective parts as needed.
• Assist with on-site projects and train operators in equipment maintenance.
