Job summary

Talnt is seeking a PLC Technician to maintain and repair industrial production equipment across heat treating furnaces, conveyors, robotics, and related systems. This hands‑on role emphasizes preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement in a fast paced manufacturing environment. Work from 5:00 a.m.

to 1:30 p.m. with occasional travel for field service and installations; overtime and weekend support as needed; valid driver's license required; ability to lift up to 50

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 5 years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on industrial machinery, production equipment, and facility systems to maximize uptime.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and equipment-control issues involving furnaces, conveyors, robotics, and other automated manufacturing machinery.
• Collaborate with production and operations teams to respond quickly to equipment breakdowns and minimize downtime.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and manuals to support troubleshooting and maintenance activities.
• Support field engineering activities including equipment installation and field service visits.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and reliability across equipment and processes.
