The Electrical Maintenance Technician is responsible for installing, inspecting, maintaining, and repairing electrical and electronic systems throughout the facility to ensure optimal equipment performance and maximum plant productivity. This role supports both electrical and mechanical operations and works closely with maintenance and production teams to minimize downtime.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret and analyze electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to determine wiring layouts and equipment configuration.
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems within an industrial manufacturing environment.
- Perform all electrical work in compliance with applicable local, state, and national electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Utilize hand and power tools to install, connect, and secure wiring, switches, motors, transformers, switchgear, and other electrical components.
- Conduct system testing to verify proper functionality, performance, and safety.
- Diagnose electrical malfunctions and implement effective repairs or component replacements.
- Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems in addition to electrical equipment.
- Program, modify, troubleshoot, and maintain programmable logic controllers (PLCs), CNC machines, robotics, servo drives, and other automated systems.
- Develop and edit ladder logic, frequency drive programming, and PLC control logic.
- Create, upload, download, and maintain PLC programs and HMI applications.
- Integrate new processes into existing equipment and configure network communications, including advanced Ethernet protocol routing.
- Assist in diagnosing and resolving electrical, mechanical, and related facility issues, applying appropriate corrective measures.
- Participate in ongoing training to enhance technical skills and meet organizational requirements.
- Support and mentor maintenance team members to ensure equipment is properly maintained and routinely serviced.
Required Experience & Skills:
- Hands-on experience programming and troubleshooting Allen Bradley PLC systems.
- Experience working with এবং programming Kawasaki robotic systems.
- Strong knowledge of electrical circuits, controls, and industrial automation systems.
- Working knowledge of PLCs, robotics, servo drives, and automated manufacturing equipment.
