Job summary

KIPP Memphis is seeking a PLC Coach to work with school leadership to identify improvement priorities, observe classrooms, facilitate professional development, and coach teachers individually and in groups.

The role emphasizes building capacity, using data to inform planning, and aligning support with district and school priorities. A strong background in instructional leadership and PLC models is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education or related area plus 5 years classroom teaching experience.
• Active Tennessee teaching license with endorsement for grade level.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Active Administrator Licensure preferred.
• Strong knowledge of No Child Left Behind laws and regulations.
• Excellent human relations skills and ability to collaborate with school communities.

Responsibilities

• Lead professional development and coach teachers one-on-one and in groups.
• Observe and provide feedback on classroom instruction.
• Help build school leadership capacity and implement School Improvement Plans.
• Assist with budget processes and data analysis to inform instruction.
• Provide resources aligned to region priorities and support PLC implementation.
