Job summary
KIPP Memphis Collegiate Elementary in Memphis is seeking a PLC Coach to join the consultancy team. You will work with the school leadership team to identify improvement priorities, observe and provide feedback on classroom instruction, and coach teachers one-on-one and in small groups.
The role focuses on building school capacity to deliver high-quality instruction aligned to standards, analyzing data from common assessments, and facilitating professional development across the region and grade
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in education or related area with 5 years of classroom teaching.
- Tennessee teaching license with an endorsement appropriate to grade level.
- Master's degree preferred.
- Strong knowledge of No Child Left Behind laws and regulations.
- Excellent instructional leadership and collaboration skills.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the principal on school-improvement priorities.
- Facilitate professional development and model best practices.
- Support teachers through conferencing, co-planning, observing, and coaching.
- Assist with Title I budgets and development of School Improvement Plans.
- Analyze data from common formative assessments to inform planning.
