Job summary

KIPP Memphis is seeking a PLC Coach to join the consultancy team, supporting school leaders and teachers to raise instructional quality and student outcomes. The role involves observing classrooms, providing feedback, modeling lessons, and coaching teachers individually and in small groups to build school capacity.

You will contribute to professional development, design region-wide supports, analyze data from assessments, and help craft improvement plans aligned with state standards and district

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education or related area with 5 years classroom teaching experience.
• Active Tennessee teaching license with endorsement appropriate to grade level.
• Master’s degree preferred; Administrator Licensure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with leadership team to identify school improvement priorities.
• Observe and provide feedback on classroom instruction.
• Facilitate professional development opportunities.
• Coach teachers one-on-one and in small groups.
• Assist with School Improvement Plans (TSIP) and monitor progress.
• Collect, organize and analyze data from common formative assessments.
