Job summary

The San Francisco Unified School District is seeking a Noon Monitor/Playground Aide for Chinese Immersion Elementary School. This temporary, part-time position pays $19.18 per hour and runs during the school year.

You will supervise recess and organize activities, transport students on campus, assist in wellness spaces, and participate in restorative conversations. Strong communication and teamwork are essential to support SFUSD's mission.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Experience working with children in a school setting is preferred.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Noon Monitors transport students safely on school grounds.
• Supervise students at playtime and maintain a harmonious atmosphere.
• Organize group games and activities and supervise lunch recesses.
• Assist students in wellness rooms and in restorative conversations.
• Support conflict resolution and refer to the office when needed.
