Job summary

Ocean Downs Casino in Berlin, MD seeks a Lead Players Club Representative to supervise staff and manage guest relations in a fast-paced casino environment. The role emphasizes delivering entertaining service, accurate player-tracking data entry, and staff training in the absence of supervisors.

Compensation starts at $17/hour with opportunities to lead and grow within Churchill Downs Incorporated. Candidates should have 2–3 years marketing or PR experience and strong English communication

Qualifications

• Two to Three years Marketing or Public Relations experience.
• Ability to read, write, speak, understand or communicate in English sufficiently to perform the necessary functions of this position.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment and effectively communicate with guests, co-workers and management.

Responsibilities

• Creates and ensures a fun-filled, entertaining and exciting environment where the flawless delivery and execution of service excellence is paramount.
• Responsible for supervision and training of staff in the absence of Supervisor/Manager.
• Responsible for Player's Club operations and staff assignments when Supervisor/Manager is not present.
• Responsible for the accuracy and integrity of information entered into the player tracking system when in Lead position.
• Performs all guest related functions required by staff members.
• Promotes honesty and trust amongst the team.
• Promotes outstanding customer relations.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.

JOB SUMMARY

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORKING CONDITIONS

• Must be able to sit, walk or stand for extended periods of time without difficulty.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule based on business needs which includes days, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to obtain and keep a License issued by the Maryland State Lottery Agency required of all Gaming Establishment employees.
