Job summary

Delaware Park is seeking a customer service oriented team member to create an entertaining, high-quality guest experience at our Delaware venue. You will manage guest accounts, assist with tournaments and promotions, and promote events.

The role requires integrity, discretion, and a polished appearance while handling sensitive information and working within the guest services team.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of customer service experience preferred.
• Background check and Delaware Lottery licensing required.
• Discretion and confidentiality with sensitive information.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other operating systems.
• Professional in uniform provided by Delaware Park.

Responsibilities

• Creates an entertaining environment prioritizing flawless service delivery.
• Displays courteous, helpful attitude with guests and builds rewarding relationships.
• Creates, updates, and verifies guest accounts using the player tracking system.
• Assists with tournaments, promotions, giveaways, and prize patrol presentations as needed.
• Follows company and department policies and procedures.
• Promotes marketing events and answers guest questions.
• Maintains discretion and confidentiality in handling all documentation and information.
• Reports guest problems to the Players Club Supervisor/Manager.
• Keeps management informed of problem areas in a fast-paced setting.
• Maintains professionalism and respect with team members and guests.
• Communicates effectively to promote positive relations among staff and guests.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Creates and ensures a fun-filled, entertaining, and exciting environment where the flawless delivery and execution of service excellence is paramount.
• Displays a courteous and helpful attitude at all times when dealing with the public and Builds Rewarding Relationships
• Responsible for creating, updating, and verifying guest accounts, using the player tracking system.
• Responsible for assisting with tournaments, promotions, giveaways, and prize patrol presentations, as needed.
• Responsible for knowledge of and adherence to Company and Departmental Policies and Procedures
• Knowledgeable and actively promotes company marketing and promotional events and is proficient in answering guest questions.
• Acts with utmost discretion and maintains confidentiality in handling all documentation and information.
• Handles customer problems and reports all incidents to the Players Club Supervisor and/or Players Club Manager.
• Works productively in a fast-paced environment and effectively communicates with co-workers and keeps Management apprised of any problem areas.
• Maintains professionalism and respect at all times when working with other team members and/or guests.
• Communicate (both written and verbal) with and promote positive team member and guest relations.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• One (1) to Three (3) years of customer service preferred.
• Must be able to successfully complete the background check and licensing process, required by the Delaware Lottery.
• Act with discretion and maintain confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
• Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and other Operating Systems.
• Must be able to wear and appear professional in the assigned uniform provided by Delaware Park, if applicable.
