Job summary

Boca Paddle by CityPickle in Boca Raton, FL is seeking a Player Relations Associate to create a welcoming environment and a memorable experience for players.

You will greet and direct players, manage the front desk and Pro Shop, handle transactions, and assist managers with a variety of tasks while ensuring facilities are tidy and well-organized. Flexible weekend/evening shifts and up to 40 hours per week, starting at $19/hour.

Qualifications

• Friendly, trustworthy, and reliable with exceptional customer service.
• Flexible schedule including weekends and evenings.
• Comfortable using POS systems and technology.
• Strong multitasker in a fast-paced environment.
• Past experience in a customer service role preferred.
• PB/Padel experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and direct players/customers/members, check players in, ensure completion of waivers, and other administrative duties.
• Respond to customer service inquiries.
• Maintain and operate the Pro Shop and Front Desk; sell merchandise, restock inventory, check in members and guests, overall organization.
• Handle credit card transactions.
• Provide basic information about programming and/or direct to someone who can.
• Help keep the courts, cafe, and surrounding areas orderly.
• Aid the players and coaches if something is needed on the courts.
• Stocking Locker Room, Sauna, Cold Plunge and Recovery Zone supplies as needed.
• Support Assistant Managers, Retail & Team Ops Manager, and General Manager with other miscellaneous tasks as needed.

Position Overview

We are seeking spirited, highly personable, Player Relations Associates at our new Boca Paddle location in Boca Raton, FL. The Player Relations Associate will play a key role in creating a welcoming and friendly environment and facilitating a memorable experience for our players.

• Club operating hours:
• 7 days a week: 7:00am - 10:00pm
• Comfortable using POS systems, iPads/laptops, and other technology
• Strong multitasker able to \"wear many hats\" in a fast-paced environment
• Past experience in a customer service role is preferred
• Demonstrates integrity, credibility, and dedication to Boca Paddle's mission
• Pickleball and/or Padel experience preferredbut not required

• Compensation: Starting at $19/hour.

Hours: Up to 40 hours per week
