Monarch Beach Golf Links, located in Dana Point, CA, is seeking a driven Player Assistant to join Troon’s hospitality-focused team. The position offers an entry-level opportunity to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced golf environment.

As a Player Assistant you will maintain a professional appearance, help manage pace of play, and assist the Pro Shop and Starter. The role emphasizes guest service, dependability, and a solid interest in golf.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must have a strong work ethic.
• Must have friendly personality and enjoy working with the public.
• Must have strong customer/guest orientation.
• Must be dependable.
• Knowledge about the game of golf highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain professional appearance
• Responsible for maintaining a reasonable pace of play on the golf courses
• Communicate and assist the Pro Shop in keeping an accurate pace of play
• Communicate with Starter and Pro Shop about any pace of play concerns
• Assist Outside Staff Attendants as needed
• Advises guests of course conditions, expected pace of play, local rules and other golf related issues
• Implement and support all course policies and programs as communicated by management
• Perform other duties as assigned

We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast‑paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you’ll contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

Pay Rate: $16.90 - $17.90 per hour (Depending on Experience)
