Job summary

Classic Club in Palm Desert, California is seeking a part-time Players Assistant for a seasonal role lasting six months or less. The position offers hourly pay and the chance to gain hands-on experience in golf club operations as part of the Troon family.

You will help monitor pace of play, deliver excellent guest service, and support daily operations on the course and in the Pro Shop. A valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Assists Outside Staff Attendants as needed.
• Advises guests of course conditions, expected pace of play, local rules, and other golf-related issues.
• Implements and supports all course policies and programs as communicated by management.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Classic Club, located in Palm Desert, CA, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a part-time Players Assistant! We are seeking a motivated individual who is interested in contributing to a positive experience for our members and guests while continuing to grow their knowledge of golf club operations. As an associate of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

Role Type:

Seasonal (Position will last 6 months or less)

Compensation:

$16.90 - $17.40 per hour

Summary:

As a key member of the operations team, the Players Assistant is responsible for monitoring the pace of play on the course. In addition, the Players Assistant needs to provide our guests high-quality customer service in a friendly and helpful manner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintains a professional appearance.
• Maintains a reasonable pace of play on the golf courses.
• Communicates with and assists the Pro Shop in keeping an accurate pace of play.
