Job summary

Troon's Rollingstone Ranch Golf Club in Steamboat Springs, CO is hiring a full-time/seasonal Starter/Player Assistant to welcome players, start groups, manage the tee sheet and pace of play. Compensation ranges from $15.00 to $15.75 per hour, with benefits including medical, vision, PTO, 401(k).

Seasonal dates are approximately May 15 through November 15, weather permitting. Knowledge of golf is preferred; a friendly, dependable team player with strong communication skills is sought, with both

Responsibilities

• The Starter / Player Assistant plays a critical role in organizing groups on the first tee, maintaining the tee schedule, and keeping records of cart numbers, turn, and finish times.
• The Starter / Player Assistant communicates golf cart traffic, pace of play expectations, and course etiquette to players.
• In addition to pace of play, the Starter / Player Assistant will convey vital information about cart traffic regulations and course rules.
• The Starter / Player Assistant is a point of contact with all players, conveying information about course conditions and pace of play.
• Ensure each group is aware of the pace of play policy and what's happening on the course ahead.
• Perform duties as assigned by the Director of Golf or manager.

Pay:

Description:

The position is responsible for starting the golfers as well as maintaining pace of play on the golf course. This is a seasonal position with approximate dates of May 15th - November 15th (depending on weather and other circumstances). We're hiring both full-time and part-time employees. We offer the best golf privileges in the valley.

• The Starter / Player Assistant is a point of contact with all players, communicating information about course conditions and the day’s pace of play.
• Make sure that each group is aware of our pace of play policy and what is happening on the course ahead of them on any given day.
• Perform duties as assigned by the Director of Golf and/or manager.
