Job summary

Graton Resort & Casino's Playbook Sports Bar is seeking a server who delivers attentive, knowledgeable, and personalized service in a high-end sports bar setting. You will take orders, offer menu recommendations with gourmet bites and beverage pairings, and ensure orders are delivered promptly and accurately.

You will maintain a polished demeanor, anticipate guest needs, and work with culinary and service teams to uphold Graton's standards of excellence.

Qualifications

• Must communicate effectively in English (written and verbal).
• Three (3) years of experience in gourmet, contemporary dining, and/or high-volume restaurants and bars.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must possess or obtain a Responsible Beverage Service State Certification.
• Must possess or obtain a California Food Handler Certification.
• Ability to handle a flexible work schedule, including weekends, holidays, and all shifts.

Responsibilities

• Take accurate food and beverage orders and provide recommendations for gourmet bites and beverage pairings.
• Deliver orders promptly and accurately while maintaining a polished, personalized service.
• Maintain an organized and clean dining area and work stations.

Position Summary:
The Playbook Sports Bar Server is responsible for providing attentive, knowledgeable, and personalizedservice to guests, ensuring exceptional dining experience in a high-end sports bar setting. This roleinvolves taking accurate food and beverage orders, offering menu recommendations with a focus ongourmet bites and beverage pairings, and delivering orders promptly and correctly. The Food Server mustmaintain a professional, polished demeanor, anticipate guest needs, and work closely with the culinary andservice teams to uphold the restaurant's standards of excellence.

Essential Functions:
1. Responsible for redefining hospitality at Graton Resort & Casino while living, supporting, and promotingour values.
2. Perform responsibilities in accordance with all Company standards, policies, and procedures.
3. Maintain in-depth knowledge of all food and beverage offerings to be able to explain the menu toguests with confidence and enthusiasm.
4. Follow the steps of service as outlined by the department on a consistent basis.
5. Take accurate food and beverage orders, including recommendations for gourmet bites and beveragepairings.
6. Proficient use of the POS system.
7. Deliver food and beverages promptly, ensuring correct orders and presentation.
8. Provide attentive, friendly, and personalized service throughout the dining experience.
9. Maintain an organized and clean work area, including the dining room and service stations.
10. Anticipate guest needs and address any concerns or requests in a timely manner.
11. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and accurate orders.
12. Process payments accurately and handle cash or credit transactions following company procedures.
13. Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation standards.
14. Assist with setting up and breaking down the dining area as assigned.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:
1. Ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members, and Management in both written andverbal form. Must be able to speak, read, and write fluently in English.
