Job summary

Babson College is seeking a Play-by-Play Announcer to call home games and potentially tournament events. This non-exempt role pays an hourly rate of $25 and may include work on weekends or evenings to cover athletic events.

Responsibilities include narrating play-by-play, providing score updates, and presenting player stats as games unfold. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's Degree, strong communication, and proficient MS Office skills to support athletic communications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree is required.
• Minimum of 1+ year of relevant experience.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office.

Overview

The Play-by-Play Announcer will call home games for Babson’s sports teams. This position may also call tournament games and serve as an announcer as Athletics events as needed.

This is a non-exempt position with an hourly rate of $25. This position includes paid sick leave where required by law. Eligibility, accrual, and usage will follow applicable state and local regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree.
• minimum of 1+ years of relevant experience.
• Must haveexcellent written and oral communication skills; must work well in team environment.
• Ability to envision and propose new methods to perform tasks that support ET&A; take thoughtful risks; and accept new and ongoing initiatives, objectives, and solutions to gain sought-after results.
