Job summary

Eagle’s Wing Child Care and Education Programs on the UW-Madison campus invites an Assistant Teacher to join the infant and toddler teaching team. The role emphasizes a multicultural, inclusive, and anti-bias approach within a play-based learning environment, supporting children from 6 weeks to 8 years old.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year working in full day play-based Early Childhood Education environments.
• Completion of Early Childhood Courses “Introduction to the Child Care Profession” and “Fundamentals of Infant and Toddler Care.”
• Successful completion of an Associate’s Degree or higher in Early Childhood Education.

Responsibilities

• Assist lead teachers in infant and toddler classrooms.
• Support developmentally appropriate learning through play-based activities.
