Job summary

Cortica is seeking Behavior Technicians in Newtown, CT to join a compassionate team delivering ABA services to children with neurodevelopmental differences. This part-time role offers paid training, BCAT exam review, and career advancement opportunities across clinical and support tracks.

You’ll provide 1:1 and group behavior-analytic services, implement evidence-based strategies with BCBA guidance, and document progress while coordinating with families and supervisors.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children; autism experience a plus.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or equivalent) required/preferred.
• Willingness to obtain BCAT credential within 90 days of start date (training provided).
• Proficiency with EMR systems and Microsoft Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and group behavior-analytic services to children with autism and other neurodevelopmental differences.
• Implement evidence-based positive behavior support plans developed with your BCBA.
• Document session data to track progress and support treatment goals.
• Collaborate with families and supervisors to build supportive home and school environments.
• Follow Cortica's crisis protocols, including de-escalation and mandated reporting.
