Surveying And Mapping, LLC (SAM) is seeking a Survey Platting Phase Manager to lead daily platting and drafting teams under a Project Manager. You will oversee staffing, schedules, QA/QC, and client coordination, ensuring quality deliverables and timely milestones across land surveying projects.

Ideal candidates bring solid project management experience, strong communication, and a background in platting or surveying. This role emphasizes leadership, training, and process improvements within SAM.

Qualifications

• Strong project management and coordination experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to independently manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
• Experience with platting, surveying, or related regulatory processes.

Responsabilités

• Plan, organize, and direct the daily activities of platting and drafting staff supporting assigned land survey projects.
• Execute work plans and establish staffing and task assignments to meet milestones and client deadlines.
• Perform QA/QC of plats, platting data, calculations, and related deliverables before submission.
• Review platting submittals for completeness, accuracy, and regulatory compliance.
• Train, coach, and develop technical staff with clear direction on scope and expectations.
• Monitor workload, productivity, and schedule performance; communicate risks and delays to leadership.
• Support project controls by tracking deliverables and assisting with status reporting; assist with billing review.
• Develop and maintain SOPs for platting workflows and revisions for management review.
