Formación

• Knowledge of emergency communications operations and geography of New Castle County.
• Ability to multi-task and work under stress with accuracy.
• Familiarity with CAD/AVL and radio systems; certifications maintained.

Responsabilidades

• Oversees receipt, prioritizing, and dispatching appropriate responses to emergencies.
• Supervises call-taking and dispatching staff on a shift and assigns work.
• Prepares duty schedules and maintains attendance records; ensures procedures are followed.
• Monitors personnel performance and participates in evaluations.
• Maintains records on incidents and prepares forms and reports.
• Ensures equipment is operative; coordinates repairs as needed.
• Communicates with patients, families, third-party callers and agencies.
• Uses CAD, AVL, radios, and other systems to perform duties.
• Maintains procedures, maps, plans, and training materials.
• Promotes excellent public service to customers.
