Job summary

The Goodman Group is seeking a Server to provide residents and guests with the best possible dining experience and to deliver Platinum Service with every interaction.

The Server will follow sanitary regulations, assist with meal service, setup, and support dining room operations during meals and events to maintain a welcoming, resident-focused dining environment.

Experience in food service or hospitality is preferred; training on Platinum Service is provided.

Qualifications

• Must meet all applicable state and federal requirements for this position.
• Food service and/or hospitality experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Serve meals that are palatable and appetizing in appearance.
• Serve food in accordance with established portion control procedures.
• Distribute and collect menus as necessary.
• Take meal orders, serve food and beverages, and answer questions regarding the menu.
• Follow sanitary regulations at all times.
• Provide Platinum Service with each dining experience.
• Set up meal trays, food carts and set up the dining room with utensils, salt and pepper, napkins, and clean common areas prior and after meals are served.
• Assist in checking resident trays before distribution.
• Pour hot and cold beverages for residents; assist with containers and condiments as needed.
• Prepare and deliver snacks to special events and parties hosted at the community.
• Bus tables during and after the meals.
• Provide support services to other dining rooms, during events and activities as needed.
• Clean dining room area according to the cleaning schedules and assignments.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
