Job summary

Rightway Fasteners, Inc. in Columbus, IN, seeks a Team Leader for the Plating department. You will assist and lead team members, coordinate daily shifts, and ensure quality throughout the manufacturing process.

The role requires hands-on supervision, training new workers, and maintaining production records to support continuous improvement. Ideal candidates have 2+ years of manufacturing experience, read kanbans, and follow safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Can read kanbans and work orders.
• English reading/writing required.
• 2+ years manufacturing experience.
• Able to lift 25–50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Must follow safety procedures and wear PPE.

Responsibilities

• Assist and lead team members in plating operations.
• Run line start-ups and maintain daily schedule.
• Perform quality checks on parts.
• Troubleshoot minor equipment issues.
• Maintain records of parts and production data.
• Back up for absences; cover breaks and lunches.
• Follow safety rules and 5S practices.
• Operate forklift if licensed (where applicable).
