Job summary

Parker Hannifin is seeking a Plating Technician to produce technically complex plating processes in assigned areas in North Haven, CT. The role focuses on safe setup, execution, and meeting safety, quality, and throughput goals as part of a manufacturing team.

The candidate should be able to read and follow ISO procedures, use calipers and micrometers, and read technical instructions. Lifting up to 25 pounds and standing most of the day are required.

Qualifications

• High School Degree or Equivalent.
• Proficient in at least two plating types.
• Able to read, write, and speak English sufficiently.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Familiar with routers, ISO procedures, work instructions, and standard work.
• Able to read calipers, VMM, and micrometer.

Responsibilities

• Set up plating production processes in assigned area and run to meet safety, quality, and throughput goals.
• Identify good and bad parts and address plating quality issues; perform rework as needed.
• Suggest safety and non-safety related process improvements; participate in high performance teams.
• Perform other activities or tasks assigned by leadership as appropriate.
