Job summary

Wickeder Group │ Engineered Materials Solutions, located in Colorado Springs, is seeking a dedicated efab operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail and technical expertise to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include operating cleaning and plating processes, processing parts, performing chemical additions, and conducting inspections. A High School Diploma is required, along with basic PC skills and the ability to read blueprints. Experience with chemicals and safety protocols is preferred.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable basic PC skills.
• Able to read blueprints/drawings.
• Ability to follow run sheets and enter data.
• Experience with chemicals and safety protocols preferred.
• Some heavy lifting may be required.
• Fluent in English, written and verbal skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate cleaning and plating processes.
• Process parts through chemical baths, following run sheets.
• Perform chemical additions as specified by lab.
• Use a micrometer to measure parts and adjust process parameters.
• In-process inspection of parts using naked eye and magnification.
• Transfer of chemicals to and from electroforming/photo areas.
• General maintenance of equipment and housecleaning.
