Greenwood Fabricating And Plating LLC is seeking a materials inspector for the plating line. You will receive, verify, and inspect materials from the warehouse, determine plating characteristics, and ensure conformance to specifications.

You will also maintain documentation, follow safety rules, and perform thickness/adhesion tests. Responsibilities include supporting customer service scheduling, managing rack shipments per work instructions, and reporting non-conforming materials with HOLD

Formación

• Legible handwriting is required.
• Ability to follow written instructions accurately.
• Proficient with measuring instruments, gauges and test equipment.
• Understanding of decimals and fractions.
• Team-oriented with good communication.
• Able to read blueprint specifications.
• Able to lift up to 70 pounds frequently.
• Must maintain acceptable attendance and safety records.
• Job requires standing, stooping and bending 100% of the time.

Responsabilidades

• Receives, verifies, and inspects materials from warehouse for plating processes.
• Determines size, composition, plating process and thickness for customer orders.
• Maintains production and quality standards and safety rules.
• Follows safety rules and maintains required documentation.
• Performs thickness and adhesion tests and documents results.
• Fills out HOLD tickets for non-conforming materials.
• Completes maintenance and daily check sheets and requests repairs as needed.
