Responsibilities

• Follows customer service schedule and assists customer service when requested.
• Determines amount of time and electrical current to be applied to parts during plating process.
• Visually inspects parts through cleaning process and post plate rinsing.
• Dries, inspects and packages plated parts per customer specs.
• Performs thickness and adhesion tests and documents results.
• Keeps floors, stands, tanks, racks, and work area clean.
• Follows all safety rules.
• Fills out daily preventative maintenance check sheets.
• Performs routine preventative maintenance as needed.
• Operates forklift when necessary.
• Identifies and handles hazardous materials.
• Plater I: completes 90-day introductory period and meets expectations.
• Plater II: 6+ months with progressing responsibilities.
• Plater III: 2+ years with broad line experience and troubleshooting skills.
