Job summary

Greenwood Fabricating And Plating LLC is seeking a hands-on team member to determine plating parameters, inspect parts during processing, and maintain clean, safe work areas. The role requires reading blueprints, following instructions precisely, and operating a stand-up forklift.

Candidates should be able to lift up to 70 pounds, work as part of a team, and document thickness and adhesion test results in accordance with specifications.

Qualifications

• Legible handwriting.
• Ability to follow written instructions accurately.
• Ability to use measuring instruments, gauges and test equipment proficiently and accurately.
• Have proficient understanding of decimals and fractions.
• Ability to work well with other people and demonstrate a team player behavior.
• Must possess and demonstrate good written and communication skills.
• Accurately read blueprint specifications.
• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds at frequent intervals.
• Must maintain "meets expectation" attendance, safety and job performance evaluations.
• This job requires standing, stooping and bending 100% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Determine size, composition, plating process and thickness for materials from the customer order form.
• Maintain production and quality standards; conform to safety rules.
• Maintain required documentation.
• Assist customer service when requested.
• Operate Stand Up Forklift.
• Visually inspect parts during cleaning and post plate rinsing.
• Dry, inspect and package plated parts per customer specs.
• Perform thickness and adhesion tests and document results.
• Keep floors, stands, tanks, racks and immediate work area clean and free of clutter.
• Follows all safety rules.
