Job summary

LTIMindtree in Santa Clara is seeking a Platform Support Technician or System Board Support Technician for a regular day shift on-site. You will work with computer/server hardware, install BIOS/OS/driver software, assemble systems, and configure firmware and networks.

The role emphasizes lab setup, test automation, and data triage to debug bringup issues. The position requires hands-on hardware skills, scripting ability, and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with computer/server hardware architecture.
• Ability to assemble computer systems using various hardware components.
• Ability to debug issues in computer system bringup.
• Ability to flash BIOS, install Windows/Linux, firmware and drivers, disk partitioning, configure networks and debug related issues.
• Ability to socket CPUs.
• Ability to organize lab space and infrastructure for a project, including networks and power cabling.
• Knowledge of test and measurement equipment (DMM, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, network analyzers, power meters, probes).
• Working knowledge of BIOS, firmware and drivers and their interaction with OS.
• Ability to modify BIOS/firmware settings.
• Knowledge of scripting (Python, Shell).
• Ability to modify test automation scripts.
• Ability to set up test equipment for a test.
• Triage test data and debug test setup/configuration issues.

Job Skills

• Able to lift 35 Lbs job may require shifting computers from one rack to another etc.
• Candidate should have reliable transportation and are OK with daily commute as it is 100 onsite work.
• Candidate must have good attitude communication skills.

Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, performance and internal equity.
