Octaura, a technology company transforming how large markets operate, seeks a Platform Support Engineer based in New York City. You will maintain the CLO and Loans trading system and other internal apps, ensuring high availability across production, demo, and test environments in a high-pressure setting.

The role requires 5+ years in application support and 3+ years in financial software, with strong Linux, Java, Python, SQL, and monitoring/ticketing skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in application support
• 3+ years maintaining/ supporting financial or other applications
• Excellent oral and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Maintain and support the CLO and Loans trading system and other internal applications
• Ensure high levels of availability of production, demonstration and test systems
• Resolve problems in a timely and professional manner in a high-pressure production environment
• Proactively learn Octaura’s business needs and develop solutions
• Flexibility for occasional late night or weekend duties
