Job summary

LTM in Mexico is seeking a Platform Support Engineer to support and enhance enterprise-scale event streaming and business automation platforms in a global environment.

You will work with Apache Kafka, IBM BAMOE/Drools, and cloud-native technologies to troubleshoot production systems and collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams. This role emphasizes platform modernization, incident management, and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Platform Support, Integration Support, or Platform Engineering
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Kafka
• Experience supporting critical enterprise applications in production environments

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot consumer lag, connectivity, authentication, RBAC, and schema registry issues
• Investigate and resolve BAMOE, Drools, DMN, and XML processing incidents
• Collaborate with CloudOps, SRE, Architecture, and Development teams
• Participate in platform modernization and migration initiatives
• Contribute to operational excellence, incident management, and knowledge-sharing activities
