Job summary
Yum! Brands, Inc. is seeking a generalist Platform Engineer to build and operate the restaurant technology platform across cloud, edge, and on-premise components.
You will own defined workstreams from design to production, focusing on self-healing, observability, and secure defaults for thousands of restaurants. Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 2+ years in software engineering, SRE, DevOps, or platform roles.
- Own end-to-end technical problems and drive from design to production.
- Experience troubleshooting multi-layer production systems.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain the platform's core software with internal APIs, web portal, and self-service automation.
- Contribute to full SDLC with design input, tests, reviews, CI pipelines, and production operations.
- Integrate platform with MDM, Nautobot, edge management, cloud APIs, and open-source tools.
