Job summary

Rate is building something new and centers this Platform Specialist role on converting warm candidates into real conversations with someone who can close. You will engage candidates in real time, lead scripted discussions about Rate’s platform, and walk them through the full suite of products, workflow, and technology.

This is a high-energy, fast-paced role at a leading mortgage lender. The position emphasizes consistent messaging, scalable processes, and the opportunity to be a founding member

Qualifications

• Strong phone communication skills and ability to build rapport quickly.
• Comfort with scripted conversations while sounding natural.
• Ability to learn and convey detailed product/platform information.
• High energy and availability to connect with candidates when needed.
• Background in mortgage, financial services, recruiting, or inside sales is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Take live transfers from the recruiting team and engage candidates in real time.
• Lead scripted conversations that demonstrate Rate’s platform, tools, and advantages.
• Walk candidates through Rate’s suite—products, workflow, technology, and business impact.
• Use video and presentation assets to answer questions during calls.
• Represent Rate’s voice on every call with energy, clarity, and consistency.
