Rate is building something new and centers this Platform Specialist role on converting warm candidates into real conversations with someone who can close. You will engage candidates in real time, lead scripted discussions about Rate’s platform, and walk them through the full suite of products, workflow, and technology.

This is a high-energy, fast-paced role at a leading mortgage lender. The position emphasizes consistent messaging, scalable processes, and the opportunity to be a founding member

Qualifications

• Strong phone communication skills and ability to build rapport quickly.
• Comfort with scripted conversations while sounding natural.
• Ability to learn and convey detailed product/platform information.
• High energy and availability to connect with candidates when needed.
• Background in mortgage, financial services, recruiting, or inside sales is a plus.

We created the Platform Specialist role to solve one of the biggest drop‑off points in our recruiting pipeline: the gap between a warm candidate and a real conversation with someone who can close them. No more scheduling delays. No more candidates going cold. Just live, seamless connections when it matters most.

What You’ll Do

• Accept live transfers from our call center recruiting team and engage candidates in real time.


• Lead consistent, scripted conversations that bring Rate’s platform, tools, and advantages to life.


• Walk candidates through our full suite — products, workflow, technology, and what it means for a VP’s business and quality of life.


• Use video and presentation assets to answer questions on the spot.


• Represent Rate’s corporate voice on every single call — with energy, clarity, and consistency.
