Job summary

PagerDuty, Inc. is seeking a Principal Product Manager for Platform Security to own strategy and execution of securing the Operations Cloud platform. This senior IC role partners with Product, Engineering, IT, and Legal to translate security strategy into concrete engineering work and risk decisions.

The ideal candidate has deep experience at the intersection of product management and security engineering in late-stage B2B SaaS, influencing roadmaps and security posture without formal authority.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in B2B SaaS spanning product management, security engineering, and/or platform security.
• Experience owning security architecture and risk tiering decisions — not just supporting them.
• Track record of running security programs and measuring risk reduction impact.
• Strong cross-functional credibility with Engineering, Legal, Product, and GTM leadership.
• Experience managing security change in the field — migrations and new auth models.
• Ability to mentor other product managers and raise the security bar without direct reports.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve platform security architecture and trust boundaries.
• Build and maintain an admin experience for enterprise security admins.
• Institute a security review process to bake security into roadmaps.
• Own the security platform roadmap and drive secure-design leadership.
• Collaborate with executive leadership to align security strategy with trust targets.
